Independent Technology & Business Advisory
Good software should make business easier.
I help businesses make better technology decisions, get software projects moving and understand what they are actually paying for.
From choosing the right approach to overseeing development or assessing a system before an acquisition, I bring hands on technical experience to decisions that matter.
Working internationally. Available for in person meetings and workshops when they are useful.
You should not need to become a software expert to make a good software decision.
Technology decisions can be difficult even when you have experienced developers around you. Business requirements change, costs grow, vendors recommend different approaches and new tools promise to solve everything.
I help make these decisions easier to understand.
Sometimes that means working out what should be built. Sometimes it means questioning an expensive proposal, helping a development team get back on track or identifying problems before they become much more costly.
The objective is straightforward. Understand the actual problem, choose a sensible approach and make sure the work delivers something useful.
Three ways I can help
The right starting point depends on what your business needs. I can help you make a decision, lead the work or understand the technology you already have.
Software & Technical Leadership
For businesses building software, managing a development partner or struggling to get a project delivered.
I help turn business requirements into a workable technical plan, evaluate architecture and delivery decisions, coordinate developers and keep the focus on what actually needs to be built. Typical work includes technical planning, architecture reviews, vendor coordination, delivery oversight and hands on engineering when needed.

For businesses deciding what technology to invest in, whether to adopt AI or how to improve existing systems.
I help assess the real problem, compare possible approaches, estimate complexity and identify unnecessary costs before they become commitments. Sometimes AI is the right tool. Sometimes a simpler integration, a better process or no new technology at all is the better decision.

For businesses, investors and buyers who need an independent view of a software product or technology environment.
I assess architecture, code quality, infrastructure, dependencies, maintainability, scalability and technical risks. The aim is to understand what exists today, what may become expensive or difficult later and what needs attention before a business decision is made.
Explore Technology Due Diligence →Real problems. Practical solutions.
My work has covered everything from business critical software platforms to complex digital products and cloud infrastructure. The common thread is solving an actual problem, not introducing technology for its own sake.
Giving customers visibility into a fragmented transport process.
Customers arranging truck shipments in construction logistics paid an intermediary without a clear view of location, final cost or delivery status.
A digital freight coordination platform that connected the parties involved and brought the process closer to the simplicity of an on demand booking.

Home blood testing, a services portal, personalized recommendations, telemedicine and corporate wellness had to share information and feel like one product.
Customer facing applications, dashboards, booking, video consultation, payment flows and product synchronization across a multi product platform.

A software company ran databases, GraphQL services and deployment configuration across a fragmented setup, creating overhead and avoidable costs.
A unified, containerized, Terraform managed monorepo. Annual costs fell by more than €10,000 and the environment became easier to manage.

Before recommending a tool or starting development, establish what needs to improve and how success will be measured.
More technology does not automatically mean a better business. Choose the simplest approach that meets the real requirements.
Business owners should be able to understand the important decisions, tradeoffs, risks and costs without reading a technical specification.
Advice is useful, but implementation matters too. I can work with your existing team, help manage a vendor or get involved directly where appropriate.
A straightforward way to get started.
We discuss the business, the problem, the current setup and what a useful outcome would look like.
If I can help, we agree on the questions to answer, the work required, access needed, deliverables and timeline.
Depending on the engagement, I review systems, speak with stakeholders, work with the development team, evaluate options or contribute directly to implementation.
You receive clear findings, recommendations or completed work. If further work makes sense, we can discuss it. There is no obligation to turn every assessment into a long term engagement.
Start with a focused review.
Not every situation calls for a long term consulting engagement. Sometimes the most useful first step is an independent review of a software project, a technology decision or an existing setup.
Together we agree on the questions that need answering, I review the relevant information and set out clear findings and next steps. You can then decide what to do with them.
An engineer who understands the business side of software.
I am a software engineer and technical lead by background. Over the years, I have built digital products, led development, worked with complex integrations and managed cloud infrastructure.
That experience has shown me both sides of technology projects. I understand the work developers need to do, but I also understand why business owners need clear answers about cost, priorities, delivery and risk.
I started Drzik & Co. to help close that gap. I lead engagements directly and bring in specialist expertise when the work calls for it.
I am not here to sell a particular platform or convince every business to adopt AI. I want to understand what you are trying to achieve and help you find a sensible way to get there.
Have a technology decision you need to get right?
Tell me what you are trying to solve, what is not working or where you are unsure. We can have a straightforward conversation about the situation and whether I can help.
Start a conversationNo elaborate sales process. Just a direct conversation about your business and the problem in front of you.
